WEDNESDAY: Mostly Sunny with some Increasing Afternoon High Clouds
Winds: North Light
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Becoming Cloudy, Light Snow After Midnight
Winds: SE 5-10 MPH
THURSDAY: AM Light Snow Ends by Late Morning. Partial PM Sun.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly Cloudy
Good Wednesday morning I’m 22News Storm Team Meteorologist Nick Bannin. Plan on a fairly quiet Wednesday filled with sun and increasing high clouds. High temperatures should reach the mid 30s this afternoon, which will be about 15 degrees colder than the low 50s we managed to reach yesterday.
Clouds will be increasing during the late afternoon and into tonight. This evening will remain dry, but near and after midnight we’ll be watching the arrival of some light accumulating snow. At this point amounts don’t appear to be much, but most roads don’t have any treatment on them anymore after it was washed away with the New Year’s Eve rain, so plan on some slippery spots Thursday morning.
Snow showers and flurries should wrap up by mid-late morning on Thursday as sunshine tries to return for the afternoon. High temperatures tomorrow should reach close to 40 degrees which will help melt whatever we accumulate early in the morning.
The mildest day of the week will be Friday with highs in the mid 40s.
We’re watching some wet weather for part of the weekend and the possibility of a bigger storm for next week on 22News 4:30-7AM.
