It may be spring, but parts of western Massachusetts woke up to a coating of snow Friday morning.
Parts of Franklin County saw as much as two inches of snow Friday and while in Ashfield this afternoon we got a taste of winter weather.
Snow fell in the hills of western Franklin County Thursday night, leaving a light blanket of white on the ground Friday morning in Buckland. People woke up to just over an inch of snow.
Adding some early spring-winter season work for one farmer at Maple Row Farm.
“I’m all set with the snow, we put a lot of hours in plowing this year, but it’s good, you get more hours on the farm,” said Chris Urgiel at the Maple Row Farm.
And like Urgiel, most people are ready for warmer weather.
