Nor’easter delivers deadly weather

Weather News

The first winter storm of the season is barreling across the midsection of the country and into the Northeast, bringing with it heavy snow and ice.

Several inches fell overnight in St. Louis. Several more inches are forecast across the northeast through Friday, where they are also bracing for high winds and coastal flooding.

Major backups on I-40 through Arkansas brought traffic to a complete standstill for hours Thursday.

Across the region salt trucks are ready and loaded.

The massive system is impacting millions now under winter weather advisories.
