Overnight wind damage reports across western Massachusetts

High wind warnings and wind advisories have been cancelled, but strong wind overnight caused some damage in western Massachusetts.

Below are some amateur storm spotter reports on wind damages in our area:

  • Conway: 10:29PM: Tree and wires down on Shelburne Falls Road
  • Greenfield: 10:29PM: Chain link fence by a construction site on Hope Street blown over onto some parked cars
  • Pelham: Tree limb down on Route 202 at Amherst Road
  • Richmond: Tree down in the road on Route 41
  • Goshen: Trees down on wires
  • Chesterfield: Tree down blocking road on Ireland Street at River Road
  • Heath: Trees and wires down at Taylor Brook Road at Avery Brook Road
  • Monson: Large tree branch and power line down
  • Deerfield: Tree down in the vicinity of the rail yard overpass near the Greenfield line
  • Chicopee: Large tree branch and wires down along Spence Street
  • Rowe: Trees and wires down on Zoar Road
