Almost a week into April, and the Pioneer Valley is still seeing snowfall.
Snow on Friday morning gave way to rain in the afternoon and temperatures barely broke 40 degrees.
Residents said it’s been a slow start to spring, but they’ve started to expect inconsistent weather in Western Massachusetts.
Annabella Boatwright of Northampton told 22News, “I’ve kind of been expecting the weather to be crazy this month. Like it was 57 in February, and then it’s really really snowing and cold today.”
