Snow ending, chance for scattered rain showers rest of day

Weather News

Yet another round of April snow could bring a light accumulation to western Massachusetts.

While not a lot of snow, low visibility and some slushy or snow covered roads in the hills may slow you down a little bit this morning.

  • Steady and widespread snow and rain through 9AM
  • 9AM-2PM: Scattered to isolated rain/snow showers
  • Rest of the Afternoon: Scattered rain showers
  • This Evening: A few rain/snow showers

  • Dustings/coatings mainly on grass and car windshields, but some roads could get snow covered in the hills outside of the Pioneer Valley
  • Snow will likely melt during the afternoon as temperatures rise well above freezing
  • Wet and sticky snow
  • Most accumulation will be in the hills west of the Connecticut River, but a very light accumulation is possible everywhere. Here’s our snowfall forecast map.
