Snow in Greenfield; just another New England day

The snow overnight affected all of western Massachusetts.

Western Massachusetts woke up to some snow Wednesday morning. Snow totals ranged from two to six inches.

There were school closings and delays throughout the area Wednesday.

Plows and salt trucks were treating roads so the morning commute wasn’t affected too much. The main roads were completely clear.

Some back roads are still a little snow covered so they could be slick. 

People seemed to be unaffected by the snow calling it just another New England day, others seemed to be happy to wake up to the snow.

“I’m from New England so I’ll take anything I don’t mind the snow. The snow is fun,” said Greenfield resident, William Perry.

Like anytime it snows, it’s important to clean off your car fully. Loose snow on the roof of your car can fall off and lead to accidents or injuries

Skies were clear for the rest of Wednesday, though making the main concern high winds and dangerously low temperatures into Thursday.
