(WWLP) – The 22News Storm Team issued a Weather Alert for accumulating snow to the west and mixed precipitation in the Pioneer Valley Monday morning.
While many residents in the Pioneer Valley woke up to a wintry mix of sleet and rain, some parts of Berkshire County saw more than half a foot of snow. 22News spoke with one woman about the hazards of driving on snowy roads.
“The roads are not well-plowed yet. The roads that I was driving on this morning got three inches of snow and it’s very wet. It looks like you can drive it but I was definitely slipping everywhere,” said Sarah Kinney of Lenox.
