A mid-April wintry mix has turned to heavy rain and gusty winds as we head through Patriots’ Day.
A Flood Warning is in effect for Hampden County and western Hampshire County until 7:30 p.m. Monday.
For the rest of the day Monday, wind and rain will be the main issue. Between 1-2″ of rain will fall throughout western Massachusetts. Gusts over 60 mph are possible over the Berkshires where a High Wind Warning is in effect until 8pm. Wind will be strong, but not as bad up and down the Pioneer Valley.
Do not drive through roads or underpasses that have become flooded.
We’ll continue to track road conditions for your morning commute on 22News.
