SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - As the world waits for something concrete to emerge from the Singapore summit, one South Korean native living in Springfield speculated about who may emerge with the upper hand.
Springfield Psychologist, Dr. Young Kim told 22News, the North Korean dictator wants his regime to survive.
Dr. Kim raised the question of what the North Korean leader wants in return for nuclear disarmament.
"If he gives up atomic bombs, one hundred percent, then what would be compensation for that," said Dr. Kim.
Dr. Kim said it seems clear to him that no matter the resolution of the nuclear weapons issue, the North Korean leader wants to remain in power.
